A bespoke audio & video install for a lakeside custom home — engineered around an oversized lake-view window, a custom slat-front oak credenza, and a Focal-anchored speaker system. Below is a tour of the work as it stands today, mid-build.
The brief: don't let the AV compete with the view. The display, speakers, and source rack are all integrated into the architecture — wall-mounted 75" QLED on a dark-shiplap accent wall, Focal in-wall surrounds painted to match, and a custom slat-front credenza built around the AV receiver so nothing reads as "black-box electronics."
Cable runs all behind the wall, in-ceiling speakers paint-matched to the dark-grey ceilings, and dedicated subwoofer placement worked out before drywall ever went up. Every device is on the home network and addressable from a single app — TV, audio zones, lighting cues, and security all in one control surface.
Project is ongoing — additional zones, the dedicated theater room, and the outdoor patio audio are still in the queue. Documentation, address maps, and the as-built drawings are kept current as work progresses.

Full-scope low-voltage package for a 12,000 sq ft retail space — fire alarm, IP video surveillance, structured cabling, and zoned background music. Passed AHJ inspection on first walkthrough.
Replaced 22-year-old conventional fire panel with modern addressable system across a 3-story office building. Tenant operations uninterrupted.
32-camera IP video system covering interior aisles, dock doors, and perimeter for a regional distribution facility. NVR with 90-day retention.
8-zone whole-house audio system with in-ceiling speakers, outdoor patio coverage, and dedicated home theater room. 7.2.4 Atmos configuration calibrated and tuned.
New construction custom home: structured cabling, full-home WiFi, surveillance, access control, whole-home audio, theater room, and smart-home integration.
NFPA 72 annual inspection and testing across 6 commercial properties for a single property management group. Coordinated scheduling, consolidated reporting.
Phone-as-key access control for 24-unit multi-tenant property. Per-tenant credentials, audit trail, after-hours lockdown, and remote management.
Streaming-licensed background music across 4 zones (dining, patio, bar, kitchen), paging mic at host stand, and zone-level volume control.
Three conference rooms outfitted with ceiling mics, displays, and Microsoft Teams Rooms integration. Single-tap meeting start, hybrid-meeting friendly.
